Deadnaut is a game of tactics, fear, and survival – you’re in command of a small squad of Deadnauts as they explore and battle their way through derelict shells of formerly glorious alien starships. Though you’ll be commandeering from afar, Deadnaut is technically a first person game: you’re watching events unfold from the relative safety of your command center. Lo-fi displays will be your eyes as you give out commands and flip switches. Your ears will be the hazy field reports of terrified blips struggling to describe the unknown. The Deadnauts’ life expectancy is short, but each playthrough will be different enough to keep you expecting the unexpected. Deadnaut is a game with a unique understanding of how to tell a story through gameplay and minimalism.
