Magic is often messy and unpredictable but also quite spectacular. To understand how it works you need to observe or -better yet- wield it raw, (Hog)warts and all. Luckily, there are plenty of games this weekend that let you do just that.
Wizard of Legend, Nine Parchments, Mages of Mystralia, Trine, and Megamagic: Wizards of the Neon Age are pretty self-explanatory. But there’s also magic to be found in Celestian Tales: Old North, Shadowrun: Returns, Hammerwatch, The Age of Decadence, even King of Dragon Pass.
